What is New Student Orientation?
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a program intentionally designed for incoming students. The program will include information on academics, student activities, student services, living on campus, and much more. University administrators, faculty, staff, and upper-division students will be available throughout the program to answer all of your questions about college life.
Who Attends New Student Orientation?
NSO is designed for new students who have enrolled in the College of Health Science. Please note that attendance is mandatory for all new students.
When Is New Student Orientation?
In-Person Orientation for School of Nursing student will take place at the Calabasas Campus on Thursday, Janurary 8th from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

Move-In and Check-In
Domestic students living on the Malibu Campus will Move-in and Check-in on Wednesday, January 7th between 1pm and 4pm.
Check-In will take place at the HAWC building.

Once you check in, you will move into your residence hall if you are living on campus. A representative from Student Activities will be there to meet you when you arrive at your residence hall. After moving in, you will need to relocate your car to Mountain Parking Garage (Parking Lot J). (located near our Drescher campus). You will not be able to leave your car in front of the residence hall.
Students will receive an email with more information regarding Move-In and Check-In prior to January 7th.
Orientation Schedule
The Spring 2026 New Student Orientation schedule is currently in progress and will be available to new students prior to orientation.
Registration Fees
There is NO registration fee for incoming students. Students living on the Malibu Campus may start using their meal points during NSO.
Please note there is NO fee for family members who are moving their student into the residence halls.
