Pepperdine University is launching the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in Fall 2025. Accreditation Status
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) prelicensure registered nursing program at Pepperdine University is pending approval by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).

WSCUC Status 
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) education program at Pepperdine University is pending approval by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College & University Commission (WSCUC).

 

Program Details

 

Four-Year Pathway

Nursing students on the four-year pathway will spend their first two years completing general education and core natural and social sciences courses at Pepperdine's Malibu campus before transitioning to the Calabasas campus for didactic and laboratory nursing classes as well as clinical preceptorships. At graduation, students will be prepared to succeed on the NCLEX-RN exam to become registered nurses.

Two-Year Pathway

Nursing students on the two-year pathway, after completing all of the required courses at another college or university, will enroll at the Calabasas campus to complete a curriculum focused primarily on nursing courses and experiential learning. At graduation, students will be prepared to succeed on the NCLEX-RN exam to become registered nurses.

  • 3.0 Cumulative Transfer GPA
  • 64 units are required to be eligible to transfer


How to Apply

First-year applicants will submit their application to Pepperdine through the Common Application. The Common Application is available each year on August 1. Applying to Pepperdine is a multi-step process, so be sure to review the process and requirements for first-year applicants or transfer applicants.
