Class Information

The College of Health Science (CHS) encourages all students to review their class schedule in their Student Center on WaveNet prior to attending New Student Orientation (NSO). Schedules will be available one week before orientation begins.

4-Year BSN Students

During their first semester, students will be pre-registered into a set of foundational courses curated to ensure alignment with their general education and nursing program requirements. This approach helps reduce the stress of course selection during the onboarding process and provides a structured introduction to the university’s academic expectations.

Beginning in their second semester at Seaver College in Malibu, students will be responsible for self-enrolling in courses. They will receive guidance from academic advisors and have access to planning tools and resources to support their course selection and long-term academic planning.

2-Year Pathway BSN Students

Throughout their program in Calabasas, 2-Year BSN students will progress through a cohort model, following a prescribed sequence of courses aligned with the required nursing curriculum. Courses must be taken in the designated order, as any changes may impact academic progression and delay graduation. Students will be registered for their courses each term by the CHS Student Services team.

If you believe you have been enrolled in a course for which you have already met the prerequisite requirements, please bring a copy of your official transcripts and the relevant course syllabus with you to New Student Orientation. CHS academic advisors will be available throughout NSO to review your schedule and address any questions or concerns.
