  • A letter of application
  • A curriculum vitae 
  • Three current letters of reference. All letters should be specific to the position and completed within one year prior to the date of submission. The name and email address for each individual providing a letter of recommendation is required when submitting an application.
  • Transcripts of all graduate work (Unofficial copies are acceptable for the application; however, official transcripts may be required for selected applicants.)
  • Teaching statement. The teaching statement should reflect on the candidate's values, beliefs, and goals regarding the teaching and learning process and any pedagogical practices used or envisioned to achieve these goals. 1,500 word maximum length please.
  • Scholarly/Creative agenda. The statement should outline applicants' short- and long-term objectives and goals for their research and/or creative activities. Candidates should reflect on currently published or presented work(s) as a foundation for the statement. 1,500 word maximum length please.

  Assistant Clinical Coordinator

Assistant Clinical Coordinator

The Speech Language Pathology Program at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate for Assistant Clinical Coordinator for its developing online graduate program - the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. The Assistant Clinical Coordinator will support the Clinical Coordinator in managing the clinical education component of the program, including external clinical rotations and the clinical components of the students' on-campus immersive learning experiences. The successful candidate should have an earned master's in speech language pathology, communication disorders, or closely related field, current CCC-SLP and SLP license in the state of California, strong administrative skill set, and demonstrated commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include experience in clinical education/supervision and student mentorship.

The Master's in Speech Language Pathology Program plans to enroll its first cohort of students in Fall 2025 (pending accreditation).   Associate Program Director

Associate Program Director

The Speech Language Pathology program at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate for Associate Program Director for its developing online graduate program - the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. The Associate Program Director collaborates with the Program Director to administer the program, particularly in coordinating the admissions process with the Dean of Enrollment, ensuring course quality, managing the students' onsite immersive learning experiences, and coordinating with college personnel on student affairs. The successful candidate will have an earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate), earned CCC-SLP, 3+ years' experience working with SLP academic programs, strong administrative skill set, and demonstrated commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include an established research agenda or plan (including but not limited to previous publications, grant funding, and/or presentations at conferences), and experience with online teaching, admissions processes, and student mentorship.

The Master's in Speech Language Pathology Program plans to enroll its first cohort of students in Fall 2025 (pending accreditation). Regular full-time employment start date is negotiable and dependent upon program need. However, faculty will be provided with work-for-hire contracts to develop their online courses during the period between 5/1/2024 and 7/31/2025 to ensure their courses will be ready to teach beginning August 2025. This is an onsite position that requires the candidate to work on Pepperdine's campus in Calabasas.

Instructor

The Speech Language Pathology Program at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate for an Instructor position for its developing online graduate program - the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. Successful candidates should have an earned master's degree in communication disorders or speech language pathology, CCC-SLP, and commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include experience with online teaching and three years clinical experience relevant to the content of the courses assigned to teach.

Instructors are full members of the SLP faculty and are expected to demonstrate excellence in the areas of teaching and service. Primary responsibilities include teaching online courses, advising students, and service to the program and University.

The Master's in Speech Language Pathology Program plans to enroll its first cohort of students in Fall 2025 (pending accreditation).
