Welcome to the School of Nursing
Pepperdine University's School of Nursing exists to develop compassionate and caring nurse leaders who will positively influence the nursing profession, transform healthcare systems, and impact communities locally and worldwide. Through rigorous coursework and practical application under the instruction of experienced faculty and healthcare practitioners, students will be prepared for careers in nursing that will promote high-quality, holistic, and compassionate care that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. The School of Nursing offers a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) as well as an Entry Level Master's in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader (ELM-CNL), crafted for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field. Both nursing programs offer an immersive hands-on experience at the newly constructed School of Nursing facilities in Calabasas, California, as well as a robust clinical rotation in the local Los Angeles community and prestigious medical institutions, teaching students evidence-based care across the care continuum and lifespan in a variety of settings with diverse individuals and communities.

Entry Level Master's in Nursing

The first two years focus on prelicensure preparation, leading to eligibility for the NCLEX-RN exam. The third year covers graduate-level nursing leadership. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the CNL certification examination and will have met program requirements for a public health nurse certification.
