
Amy Batchelor
Biography
Amy Batchelor is a speech-language pathologist and clinical instructor who has spent most of her career working with preschool and elementary-aged students in the public school system. She’s passionate about helping students with articulation, language, and fluency disorders, and is skilled at managing large caseloads. Batchlor loves working alongside teachers and parents to navigate the special education process, while also training teachers on developmental milestones and communication skills for each grade level. Now transitioning to University instruction, Batchelor is excited to share her hands-on experience with future speech-language pathologists. She holds a bachelor's in communication disorders from Abilene Christian University and a master's in speech-language pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas. Outside of work, Batchelor enjoys watching sports and organizing. She and her husband, Colin, live in Texas not far from their three college-aged children.
